MIAMI (June 27, 2018) –– Nine FIU swimming and diving student-athletes were named to the 2018 College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team on Wednesday, highlighting the strength of the Panthers not only in the pool but also in the classroom.
The CSCAA academic honor recognizes students that have achieved a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher and have competed at their respective NCAA/NAIA/NJCAA swimming & diving championships.
FIU's Letizia Bertelli, Brooke Bouchard, Rachel Foord, Nicole Hunnewell, Stephanie Hussey, Alexandra Mayhew, Oceane Peretti, Rebecca Quesnel and Naomi Ruele all earned the academic distinction from the CSCAA.
