MIAMI (Jan. 12, 2019)– The FIU women's swimming team captured 10 of 11 events against the Central Connecticut State Blue Devils on Saturday.
Competing without their diving counterpart, they finished with 127.5 points at the Biscayne Bay Aquatic Center.
Headlined with the 200 medley relay. A one-two finish in the event set the tone for how the rest of the afternoon would unfold. Led by senior Naomi Ruele, junior Carita luukkanen, sophomore Stephanie Hussey and freshman Helga Fodor, the Panthers clocked in a time of 1:47.62, to secure the first win of the afternoon.
