ATLANTA, Georgia (Feb. 27, 2021) - The FIU women's swimming and diving team made history on Saturday night at the Conference USA Championships, as the program won its seventh-consecutive league title after posting a total of 956.5 points in the conference meet.
FIU finished 51 points ahead of Rice, with the Owls finishing in second overall with 905.5 points. North Texas (468, 3rd), FAU (425, 4th), Marshall (416, 5th), and ODU (237, 6th) rounded out the standings.
The Blue & Gold extends its own C-USA record for most consecutive titles won, while the swimming and diving team builds on its record of most consecutive championships of any athletic program in FIU history.
