IRVING, Texas (March 9, 2017) -- After shooting a pair of rounds under par and taking her fourth top-10 finish of the season, FIU senior golfer Camila Serrano (Bogota, Colombia) was named the Conference USA Golfer of the Week on Wednesday.
In a field that included six ranked Division I programs and the number-two team in Division II, Serrano shot a 2-under 214 at the Hurricane Invitational in Coral Gables, Florida, to end February and begin March. With her pair of under-par rounds she now has been better than par in 10 of the 17 competitive rounds.
