FIU Recruiting Class Ranked No. 18 by TopDrawerSoccer.com

MIAMI (May 28, 2020) - The FIU men's soccer team has the No. 18 ranked recruiting class in the nation for 2020, according to TopDrawerSoccer.com.

Newly hired head coach Kyle Russell and assistant coach Dannie Merida are off to a strong start in their first offseason with the program, having already assembled an impressive signing class that ranks among the best in Division I men's soccer.

FIU's group for 2020 features eight transfers and one incoming freshman. The signees include one forward (Rasmus Tobinski, Vermont), three attacking midfielders (Mauro Bravo, Iona College; Renato Kauzlaric, UMass-Lowell; and Jeremiah Edouard, East Tennessee State), two midfielders (Kareem Riley, Florida Gulf Coast; and Tavon Mussenden, Atlanta United FC), one defender (Philip Hildebrandt, East Tennessee State), and two goalkeepers (Jonah Penaranda, Pittsburgh; and Brison Moorhead, George Mason).
