MIAMI (Dec. 14, 2020) – The FIU women's basketball team prevailed 96-57 over Florida Memorial in Monday night's home opener, with the Panthers scoring the most points in a game since the 2013-14 season.
With the win, FIU improves to 2-1 after back-to-back victories. The Panthers last scored 96 points against Southern Miss on Feb. 16, 2014. Additionally, the 39-point margin of victory was FIU's largest since joining the C-USA in 2013-14.
Led by 15 points, FIU fielded a balanced attack with six Panthers scoring in double figures. pulled down a team-high 13 rebounds and scored 10 points for her first double-double as a Panther.
