MIAMI (Oct. 13, 2021) - The FIU men's soccer team has achieved its highest ranking in the Rating Percentage Index (RPI) since the 2003 season, as the Panthers climbed to No. 14 in the latest release which includes games through Oct. 10.
FIU's ranking in the RPI stands among the top three programs within the United Soccer Coaches (USC) Southeast Region along with Conference USA foes Marshall and Kentucky, who are No. 4 and No. 10 in the RPI, respectively. FIU stands as the highest-ranked program in the state of Florida.
The Blue & Gold are in the midst of a fantastic 2021 campaign that has seen the Panthers earn country-wide recognition throughout the college soccer landscape.
