MIAMI, Fla. – The FIU men's basketball team collected a pivotal bounce-back victory on its home court on Wednesday evening, holding on for a 79-74 win over Incarnate Word (6-7) inside the Ocean Bank Convocation Center. The Panthers led by as much as 26 points prior to the Cardinals rallying in the second half, as Denver Jones led four Panthers in double figures with team-highs of 20 points and four rebounds.
FIU moves to 5-6 overall, while Incarnate Word drops to 6-7 on the season.
