BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Junior notched a game-high 20 points, but it wasn't enough as the FIU men's basketball team dropped an 84-71 decision at Western Kentucky on Saturday afternoon in Bowling Green, Ky.
The Panthers led briefly in the opening half until Western Kentucky's transition game got rolling to open a five-point lead at the break - before outscoring FIU 41-33 over the final 20 minutes to secure the victory.
The Hilltoppers' fast pace pushed them to the advantage as they produced 14 fast break points, including 12 in the opening half and limited the Panthers to zero.
