MIAMI – FIU wide receiver Tyrese Chambers and defensive lineman Davon Strickland have each been selected to Phil Steele's 2022 Preseason All-Conference USA Team, which was released this week.
The Panthers had a total of six players recognized overall as Lexington Joseph was named to the second team as a kickoff returner, Josiah Miamen (TE) and Donovan Manuel (LB) were selected to the third team and offensive lineman Lyndell Hudson Jr. was slotted on the fourth team.
Chambers returns following a breakthrough 2021 campaign which saw him establish himself as one of the top wide receivers and deep threats in the nation.
