MIAMI – The FIU football program has begun to finalize its coaching staff with Nick Coleman named as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach and Jovan Dewitt staying on in his current role as defensive coordinator, FIU head coach Willie Simmons announced on Tuesday.
Coleman arrives at FIU with over 10 years of experience and following a two-year stint as the quarterbacks coach at UAB under head coach Trent Dilfer.
"My family and I are extremely blessed to have this opportunity here at FIU and with Coach Simmons," Coleman said. "He is a proven winner, and we can't wait to get to work in the 305!
