MIAMI – FIU football head coach Mike MacIntyre has selected Zac Roper as the newest assistant coach on the Panthers' staff, it was officially announced on Wednesday.
"Zack Roper is an excellent football coach with previous experience as both an offensive and special teams coordinator," MacIntyre said. "He has previously been on the staff at Duke for 14 seasons, so it is tremendous to have the opportunity to have him join our coaching staff at FIU."
In addition, Joshua Eargle, who was previously the Panthers' tight end coach, has been elevated to Deputy Head Coach and will now supervise the offensive line.
