MIAMI (Feb. 5, 2021) – The FIU men's basketball team welcomed UTSA to the Ocean Bank Convocation Center on Friday night. The Panthers fell to the Roadrunners 87-80 during the Conference USA contest.
Overall, the team shot 50.8% from the field but went just 7-24 from beyond the arc. The Panthers outscored the Roadrunners 44-40 in the paint and 14-6 off fast breaks during the loss.
Individually, Antonio Daye, Jr. recorded a team-high 26 points, while Tevin Brewer followed closely behind with 17. Dimon Carrigan posted a double-double with a career-high 15 points and 11 rebounds.
