DAYTONA BEACH, Florida (Nov. 20, 2018) – The FIU women's basketball team closed out an early season road trip on Tuesday night by falling to Bethune-Cookman in a hard-fought 68-57 decision.
With the loss, FIU falls to 0-5 on the season, while Bethune-Cookman improves to 3-1 on the year.
FIU was led once again by TaMiracle Taylor, who scored 15 points on the night. Bethune-Cookman's Angel Golden scored 20 to lead the Wildcats.
FIU hung around for majority of the first half and headed to the locker room tied at 31 at halftime.
