FIU led 2-1 entering the eighth inning, but FAMU rallied to score two runs and take the 3-2 victory over the Panthers.
With the loss, the Panthers fall to 5-6 on the year, while FAMU improves to 5-10 on the season. Gio Soto took the loss for FIU on the mound, after allowing a run late. Freshman Franco Aleman had a good outing after going six innings, allowing just one run and striking out a career-high eight batters.
