MIAMI (March 3, 2021) – On a historic offensive night, the FIU women's basketball team pounced on the Florida Memorial Lions 107-74 in the Panthers' final tune-up before the Conference USA Basketball Championships next week.
With Wednesday night's victory, FIU improves to 12-11 on the season and doubles its win total from last year.
The Panthers' 107 points scored is the most in regulation since 1998 and ties the triple-overtime output of 107 points against UTSA earlier this season. FIU drained 16 three-pointers on Wednesday night as well, which broke the single-game record for most made treys in program history.
