JUPITER, Florida (Oct. 14, 2019) – After opening the fall slate with two tournaments out west, the FIU women's golf team returned to the Sunshine State on Monday as the Panthers shot a 580 at the Jupiter Women's Invitational to sit in first overall after the opening 36-holes.
Agueda Cortilla leads the FIU insurgence on the leaderboard that features three Panthers in the Top-10. Cortilla came out of the gates hot, firing an opening-round five-under-par 66 before carding a 73 in the afternoon session. The Barcelona, Spain native will have a two-shot lead heading into Tuesday.
