DELAND, Florida (March 27, 2022) – No. 19 FIU Beach Volleyball made a statement on Sunday at the Stetson Beach Bash by prevailing 3-2 over No. 10 Florida Atlantic before a 5-0 dismantling of host No. 18 Stetson.
The victory over FAU is the Panthers' first win over a Top-10 opponent since FIU defeated No. 3 Florida State last season.
FIU had three pairings go undefeated on Sunday, with Roberta Ribeiro and Zuzanna Bielak leading the charge on court two. Rachele Mancinelli and Emily Meyer dominated on court three, while court five saw Kendall Mather and Lisa Luini take both duels.
