Austin Shenton hit a towering home run into the nature preserve over the right center field wall in the bottom of the 12th inning to lift FIU to an 8-7 walk-off victory over Old Dominion on Saturday night at Infinity Insurance Park.
With the win the Panthers improved to 12-13 overall and 3-2 in Conference USA play. The Monarchs are now 8-13 and 1-4 in league play.
