MIAMI (March 22, 2021) - scored a hat trick on Monday night, as the FIU women's soccer team defeated Marshall 3-1 for the program's first-ever win over the Thundering Herd.
The 3-1 win also marked FIU's first conference victory since 2016.
Amparo scored in the 20th and 23rd minutes of the contest, after assists from and Kédie Johnson.
Following a Herd goal in the 67th minute to narrow the gap, Amparo struck again in the 84th minute to put the match away for good and cap the sophomore's first-career hat trick.
