MIAMI (May 10, 2017) --- All 16 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) championship athletic programs at FIU finished above the required multi-year score of 930, with 14 teams recording scores of 960 or better in the release of the NCAA's 13th-annual Academic Progress Rate (APR) on Wednesday.
"While our athletic teams compete at a high level, it is their work in the classroom that matters the most," FIU Executive Director of Sports and Entertainment Pete Garcia said. "I want to thank the FIU Board of Trustees, President Rosenberg and the FIU Administration for giving us the resources to be able to accomplish this feat.
