The first of 15 FIU spring football practices begins Monday at 9 a.m. at FIU Stadium. The Panthers are coming off a 5-7 season where they return just about everyone on offense. But on defense FIU will need to figure out who will replace stalwarts such as Michael Wakefield, Denzell Perine, Lars Koht, Richard Leonard and Jeremiah McKinnon.

BACKUP QUARTERBACKS: The Alexanders (no relation), Christian (above left) and Maurice (above right), will vie for the backup quarterback job behind starter junior Alex McGough.
