It's not a surprise that news Oregon coach Willie Taggart is recruiting the talent-rich Tampa Bay area.
He did it at USF; his signing classes in 2015 and 2016 each featured four players from Hillsborough/Pinellas (even if at least one prominent local high school coach thought he should have signed more).
But Taggart seemed to turn a corner this weekend when Wesley Chapel cornerback Isaiah Bolden flipped from Florida State to the Ducks.
Granted, Taggart had already been recruiting Florida in his new school. Seven of Oregon's 24 signees in February's class were from Florida.
