The past 24 hours have included two assistant coaching shuffles with interesting ripples in Florida.
The first is obvious: Former UCF offensive coordinator Brent Key is expected to join Alabama's staff, according to Sports Illustrated. Key was once the coach-in-waiting for George O'Leary, but new coach Scott Frost didn't keep him after a dreadful offense fueled the Knights' winless season.
The second could have bigger implications in Tampa Bay. LSU hired Dameyune Craig from Auburn to be the new receivers coach.
Craig is regarded as an ace recruiter; he helped Florida State land five-star prospect Jameis Winston in 2012.
