Now that the shock has subsided from Jeremy Foley’s sudden retirement announcement Monday, the University of Florida now turns its focus on finding a replacement for the most successful athletic director in school history.
"It's daunting,” UF president Kent Fuchs said after Foley’s retirement news conference Tuesday. “This is one of the most important appointments during my time as president. I expected that at some point it would come. I wasn't expecting it now.
“He's got a contract that's supposed to run a couple more years. But if you're going to pick a time, you want to pick it when you're at the top and you've got a great team.
