In today's Tampa Bay Times, Joey Knight and I tried to rank the 10 wildest finishes in college football history. It was really, really hard.
We tried to consider the stakes of the game as well as the ending itself; that's why Auburn's Kick Six against Alabama is No. 1.
If we missed any, it's obvoiusly Joey's fault. Our No. 11 pick, for what it's worth, was the famed Fifth Down game between Colorado and Missouri. I also thought about the 2009 Big 12 title game, when Nebraska seemed to have won it but referees (correctly) added a second back to the clock so Texas could kick the game-winning field goal and a trip to the national title game.
