A handful of former in-state greats are on the ballot for consideration for the College Football Hall of Fame.
The list includes:
Florida offensive tackle Lomas Brown, a 1984 All-American
Florida State defensive back Terrell Buckley, a 1991 Jim Thorpe Award winner
Kansas State kicker Martin Gramatica, who went on to kick for the Bucs from 1999-2004
Miami linebacker Ray Lewis, a 1995 All-American
Miami defensive back Ed Reed, a two-time All-American and the 2001 Big East defensive player of the year
Illinois linebacker Simeon Rice, a two-time All-American who spent six seasons with the Bucs
Miami defensive tackle Warren Sapp, who finished sixth in the Heisman Trophy voting in 1994 before becoming one of the best players in Bucs history.
