The Florida Gators picked up a big transfer on Friday when they picked up a defensive back from a Sun Belt school.
Southern Miss defensive back transfer Michael Caraway Jr. committed to Florida on Friday after leaving his official visit to Gainesville.
“I’m home, #GoGators,” Caraway tweeted on Friday.
The Gators have been looking to add defensive back depth to the class and Caraway fits that as he started four game last year and played in all 11 games for the Golden Eagles.
In three years, Caraway has 58 tackles and has broken up five passes from his cornerback position and he comes to Gainesville with one year left to play.
