A week after learning his football career had been ended by congenital cervical stenosis, Florida offensive tackle Rod Johnson sent out a statement through UF on Monday saying he loves the game, will have a difficult time moving forward without it, but sees a positive side to his situation.
“Spinal stenosis — April 3, 2015 — the day that changed my life,” he said. “It’s hard to walk away from this game, and it’s dearly easy to fall in love with when you have the right mindset and the dedication,” said the sophomore from Delray Beach said.
