Last season, UF receiver Trevon Grimes and LSU quarterback Joe Burrow were teammates and friends at Ohio State.
On Saturday in the Swamp, the two players will be on opposing sidelines during one of the SEC’s premier East-West rivalries.
Grimes said he and Burrow bonded during their time with the Buckeyes. Each decided during the off-season to go his separate ways to further their college careers.
“Before I left Ohio State, me and him were kind of close,” Grimes said. “We talked often.”
Grimes, a sophomore, had a season-high four catches, for 34 yards, last Saturday at Mississippi State and continues to carve out a role for the No.
