With the leading returning receiver missing this spring and the quarterback competition still way too close to call, there is some obvious uncertainty still surrounding Florida’s passing game.
Yet, there is also some certainty. The receiving end of the passing game has made positive strides, UF coach Jim McElwain said Friday.
“I’ve been really happy with their consistency in catching the ball,” he said. “There hasn’t been an inordinate amount of drops, which can go two ways. I think the quarterbacks are putting it pretty good on them, too.
