Under the new staff, Florida’s defense this season will be the same aggressive, high-energy unit it was during the previous regime.
Defensive coordinator Geoff Collins hasn’t implemented wholesale changes for the Gators, but he and his assistants have made at least one alteration schematically for the players.
“We run a lot of different schemes,” Collins said back in January. “But after that, what you realize is, it’s about the players. Whatever the players can do, that’s what you want to do.
