Normalcy is about to return to sports on the UF campus. UF announced on Wednesday that it will operate its venues at 100 percent capacity for any NCAA Championships events that it hosts moving forward.
This announcement came minutes after the NCAA declared that it will no longer cap attendance at its postseason events and allow local health officials to establish their own policies.
This means that you can expect to see a full Katie Seashole Pressly Stadium for this weekend’s softball regional and next weekend’s super regional, or at least close to it.
The baseball team is also expected to host a regional at a minimum, and they have a chance to earn the right to host a super regional as well with a strong close to the season.
