The Florida Gators’ exodus to the NFL continued Wednesday, with tailback Jordan Scarlett and linebacker Vosean Joseph leaving for the 2019 draft.
Five players from the coach Dan Mullen’s first Gators’ team now have declared early entry for the draft, leaving some key holes to fill as UF enters the offseason.
Scarlett and Joseph join pass rusher Jachai Polite, offensive tackle Jawaan Taylor and defensive back Chauncey Gardner-Johnson as Gators leaving school with a season of eligibility remaining.
Polite and Taylor are projected as first-round picks, while Gardner-Johnson has been in the past and is sure to test well at the NFL Scouting Combine.
