Gators’ quarterback Luke Del Rio headed to the locker room during the second quarter Saturday in the Swamp against Vanderbilt.
Del Rio seemed to injure his left shoulder after a Vanderbilt defender hit him following an 11-yard completion to Brandon Powell on third-and-13 with with about five minutes remaining in the first half.
Del Rio laid on the field momentarily, noticeably in pain, as a teammate checked on him, before helping the quarterback to his feet.
Trainers checked Del Rio’s left shoulder on the sideline — the 22-year-old was visibly frustrated before he left for the training room.
