That would be one with the football in his hands for a touchdown.
Franks’ 1-yard scoring run on fourth-and-goal against South Carolina was a basic play any pee-wee team could run. But as the game clock wound down past Saturday in the Swamp, things got a bit complicated when Franks could not locate the person signaling in the play call.
Franks quickly reviewed his wristband and found the QB keeper. Denied twice already by the Gamecocks’ defense, the 6-foot-6, 240-pound Franks crashed over the goal line this time.
