The storylines surrounding Saturday’s Florida-Georgia matchup vs. last season’s rivalry game show just how much has changed with the Florida football program.
“It’s a different feeling, obviously,” said Gators offensive guard Trip Thurman, whose team will be a Vanderbilt-loss away from clinching the SEC East with a win this weekend.
Last year, Florida’s team was a wreck heading into the UGA game. The Gators had lost two of their last three games, including an embarrassing 42-13 homecoming loss to Missouri.
