Florida’s 20-7 win over South Carolina meant more to many Gators than simply maintaining their pole position in the SEC Eastern division.
On Saturday, Florida honored its nine seniors on scholarship with a pre-game ceremony celebrating their contributions to the program. Among those honored was redshirt junior Alex Anzalone, who missed Saturday’s game with a broken arm and seems set for the NFL draft in April. The Gators also took the opportunity to honor former offensive tackle Roderick Johnson, whose UF career ended before the 2015 season due to a spinal injury.
