Florida’s 2016 football recruiting class continues to grow and gain momentum heading into the fall.
The Gators landed Dade City Pasco cornerback Jayvaughn Myers on Tuesday. He is UF’s fifth 2016 verbal commitment and sixth overall pledge in the last 12 days.
Myers, who announced his decision on Twitter, is an Under Armour All-American and rated a four-star prospect by ESPN. Other sites have him as a three-star recruit, but he holds offers from more than 22 schools, including Auburn, Florida State, Miami and Oklahoma.
Myers was offered by the Gators in late April and visited UF three times in two weeks during the month of June.
