Four-star QB prospect Jalon Jones arrived at UF in January.
After just 15 practices with Florida, his tenure in Gainesville is likely over.
Jones entered the NCAA transfer portal today, according to multiple reports. The reason for his transfer is unclear.
Jones played his freshman, sophomore and senior years at Henrico High School in his home town of Richmond, Virginia, and his junior year at St. Francis High School in Baltimore. During his tenure at St. Francis, Jones passed for 1,025 yards and threw 11 touchdowns and ran for 819 yards and nine touchdowns, cementing himself as one of the country’s best quarterback prospects.
