UF freshman Callaway becoming a top playmaker

Jim McElwain is particular about the process of making a PB&J.

The Florida coach makes them for his players and takes pride in getting the peanut butter and jelly all the way to the edge of the crust.

“Like my mother used to do,” McElwain said.

But there’s one player who undermines McElwain’s PB&J perfection. Antonio Callaway doesn’t like crust, so McElwain regrettably cuts it off for him each time.

“At least he leaves me some scraps,” McElwain said, “so I can have a little something.”

As much as McElwain despises a crustless sandwich, well, Callaway is worth making an exception for.
