UF coach Dan Mullen suddenly is looking for a defensive line coach.
Veteran coach Sal Sunseri reportedly is returning to coach at Alabama after one season in Gainesville under Mullen. The move was reported Friday by Gator Country.
Sunseri, 59, has been coaching college and professional football since 1985. This includes a three-season stop (2009-11) in Tuscaloosa as an assistant head coach and linebackers coach under Nick Saban.
Sunseri’s 25-year-old son, Vinnie, recently joined the Crimson Tide’s staff as a graduate assistant —a move sure to have played a role in his father’s decision.
