UF defensive back Chauncey Gardner-Johnson wasted little time turning his eye toward the future following the end of the Gators’ regular season.
Gardner-Johnson, a junior, declared for the NFL draft on Monday evening, two days after his team’s 41-14 win at Florida State.
Gardner-Johnson wrote on his account he is “100 PERCENT COMMITTED” to play in the team’s bowl game, which will be announced Sunday.
“I’ve decided to do what’s best for me and my family by continuing to pursue my dreams,” he wrote.
Gardner-Johnson looks to have a bright future at the next level.
