Chauncey Gardner-Johnson likes to talk, both on and off the field.
On Sunday, the Florida Gators’ loquacious defensive back was forced to listen.
Kentucky’s 27-16 win Saturday night in the Swamp snapped the Wildcats’ 31-game losing streak to the Gators and left Gardner-Johnson to eat crow after he had guaranteed victory No. 32.
Gardner-Johnson’s social media accounts were flooded following the loss. Many told the junior from Cocoa Beach to keep quiet and let his play do the talking.
On Monday, Gardner-Johnson gave Kentucky credit and looked to move on.
“I don’t worry about it,” he said.
