JACKSONVILLE — Florida coach Jim McElwain often talks to his players about the importance of staying in the moment — focusing on each day, each practice, each game as it comes.
He’s added one caveat this week: stay in the moment and enjoy it.
That appears to be the Gators’ game plan coming into Saturday’s big and important rivalry game against Georgia — a relaxed approach to a high-intensity situation knowing they put in the necessary work over the course of the week to prepare for this moment.
