UF coach Mike White enters a make-or-break stretch for the Gators leaning increasingly on a trio of teenagers with barely 50 games of college experience.
During this past Saturday’s 62-52 win at Georgia, the Gators started three freshmen for the first time in 20 years. White expects to stick with a lineup including point guard Andrew Nembhard, shooting guard Noah Locke and forward Keyontae Johnson Tuesday night when UF (10-7, 2-3 SEC) hosts Texas A&M (7-9, 1-4).
Johnson is the newcomer to the starting five, earning a spot this past weekend. Nembhard, on the other hand, has started every game while Locke supplanted struggling senior Jalen Hudson in late November and is slated to make his 14th start Tuesday.
