DESTIN – Even though it happened 1,000 miles away and in another conference, Baylor University’s fall from grace hit home with UF athletics director Jeremy Foley.
On Thursday, Foley e-mailed his coaches to remind them of their duties when sexual assault/harassment claims are reported to them.
In the e-mail Foley shared a link to the Pepper Hamilton report about Baylor’s misdeeds and listed three things coaches must do if confronted with a claim.
“Not paying attention to the following will jeopardize you, the UAA (University Athletic Association) and the University of Florida,” Foley wrote.
