The Florida Gators received a commitment from Tulane transfer running back Cameron Carroll on Monday afternoon.
Carroll took to social media to announce his decision.
“No place like home go gators,” he posted on Twitter.
The 6-0, 225-pound running back was originally a member of the 2018 recruiting class, playing high school ball at Northwest Ranklin High School in Flowood, Mississippi.
Carroll spent the next five seasons with the Green Wave, totaling 1,885 yards from scrimmage and 24 touchdowns.
In 2018, Carroll appeared in four games and redshirted, seeing the majority of his playing time on special teams.
