HOOVER, Ala. — When University of Tennessee senior Curt Maggitt returns home to West Palm Beach, he is surrounded by Gators.
Friends from Dwyer High — once home to UF stars Matt Elam and Jon Bostic — were Gators. Maggitt's high school coach, Jack Daniels, was a Gator, too.
But for the first time in a long while, it is not embarrassing to be a Vol in Gator Nation.
Tennessee is trending in year three under coach Butch Jones, while UF is in year one under coach Jim McElwain. The Gators' 10-game win streak against the Vols has never been in such jeopardy.
