ESPN’s Tom Luginbill remains confident in Florida’s chances against Michigan on Saturday even without suspended running back Jordan Scarlett. He joined Frank Frangie on the “Frangie Show” on 1010XL Jax Sports Radio Wednesday to discuss the game.
“I think Florida is going to win it,” Luginbill told Frangie. “I think they’re too talented across the board. I think they’re deep and they are athletic and regardless of what happens at quarterback they’re going to have a plan with whoever is in there.
Surprisingly, Luginbill credited backup quarterback Malik Zaire, who lost the preseason quarterback battle with redshirt freshman Feleipe Franks, as a reason to believe in the team’s success.
